Anne-Julie Morand
For more than 20 years, I have supported women, families and people living with complex concerns by integrating osteopathy, neuroscience and an understanding of the nervous system.
A person-centred practice.
My practice developed at the meeting point of three fields: osteopathy, psychology and neuroscience.
After studying psychology at McGill University, I turned toward osteopathy and, over more than two decades of clinical practice, developed an integrative understanding of the person — from the body and movement to the nervous system, stress, adaptation and resilience.
This path led me to deepen two areas now central to my work: women’s health through the different stages of life, and neuroscience applied to osteopathy and self-regulation.
Since 2011, I have taught these approaches to professionals in Canada and internationally. Teaching, clinical supervision and my involvement in the profession continue to enrich my work with each person.
One conviction guides my practice: a better understanding of adaptation mechanisms allows us to support people with greater precision, nuance and humanity.
